Holy Crap

You forget about things...like updating your law blog. Anyways...finally hitting our stride I think. Today was an eventful day. Paid the bills and worked out all problems with that (grr AEP get it together!). I was appointed treasurer of IPLS, the intellectual property law society. Basically in all the law school organizations there are maybe 4-5 1L officers total, so it's awesome to grab one of these rare opportunities especially considering its my field of interest. Threw together a bowling team today too because the league starts tomorrow night at 9. I cannot wait to be a regular bowler again...I'll have to record my scoreson here if I remember them. Daniel, Brodie, and Abbe are my teammates, so an interesting team to say the least. We'll have a bunch of fun I am sure. I got called on for the first time all semester today in Civ Pro, and despite Fairman's best attempts I think I stumbled through it without looking like too much of an idiot :-) In other words, law school going great!
Weekend was ok. OSU smashed Miami and that was cool. Watched the game at Kelley's grandparents house and had a relaxing day there watching football with her dad and her. Went to Athens Sunday and stayed at Kelley's new place until Monday night. You can tell her grandmother decorated, as it is very high class. I love it though, it feels very nice. The freedom of an apartment to yourself is probably pretty cool if you can get past the boredom...so hopefully she will do well this year. I borrowed her new book called The Tough Questions: 100 things to ask yourselves before you say I do. It is very though provoking and will be a great exercise for us relationship-wise when we get together. I wish we could share an apartment this year...I sure hope next year she can be in Columbus as I am so tired of having my loved one so far away.
Texas game Saturday...party all weekend! Woo-ee! And Neil, I hope you are not a Horns fan...cuz if you are, you better get the tissues ready to cry over how bad the Bucks are going to make Vince Young and company look. :-) Have a good week everyone!
